If someone loves ice skating and Paris, they can combine it. It is possible to ice skate on the first floor of the Eiffel tower till February 9th.

Cold weather usually makes people stay at home, not so in Paris. People really enjoy winter in the French capital. They go ice skating nearby the tallest building in France, the Montparnasse skyscraper. Many tourists also like ice skating not only in front of the Eiffel tower but also on its first floor.

In the winter period the Eiffel tower offers a unique experience. Visitors can ice skate at the height of 57 meters and enjoy the beautiful view of Paris at the same time. Even though the temperatures are bellow zero, people queue to get to the tower every day. Groups of warmly clothed people including little children can then be seen ice skating on the first floor. For some tourists, it certainly is a life experience.

As novinky.cz reported, visitors who pay the admission fee to the tower can enter the ice-skating ring without any extra charge. They can even borrow ice skating gear there, also for free. The ice-skating ring is about 200 square meters large and is decorated with Christmas lights.
