Business travel in Spain in the first quarter recovered 82% of the pre-pandemic level, five percentage points more than in the last quarter of 2022, according to the report by the GEBTA Observatory.

The study values that these data are "very positive" to the extent that they reflect a dynamic market "without exceptions," in which, in addition, the recovery of international travel presents "already values close to normality."

Small, medium, and large companies have all experienced growth compared to previous data. However, the most prominent companies have increased the most, with a 12-percentage point rise, which has helped reduce domestic and international travel data asymmetries.

The limited market range falls between 88% for domestic markets and 85% for medium to long-haul international destinations.

The data for the first quarter in the domestic market shows a similar result to the previous report, with a recovery threshold of around 90% in the post-covid scenario.
