Rising prices for air tickets due to Boeing's problems

Airline ticket prices experienced a rise in January and February due to the challenges faced by Boeing. The plane crash and subsequent inspections of Boeing factories contributed to a 3.6% increase in airfare prices during the year's first two months. It is forecasted that the price growth may reach 8.5% - 18% during the year's first half. According to travel company Amex Global Business Travel (GBT), business class ticket prices will increase by 8.5% on the busy New York to Los Angeles route during the peak summer season. On the Seattle to San Francisco and Chicago to Las Vegas routes, prices for business and economy class tickets will go up by 18% and 9.6%, respectively, during the year's first half.
