New Jersey has become renowned for being a cultural and historical hub on the West Coast. While many people head to New York and the glitz and glam of Times Square, often, they miss out on what is on offer just a short drive away.

No matter where you are, from the city to the beach, there are endless choices when it comes to where you want to have a good time. With dozens of party blocks in New Jersey, here are some of the best spots to visit when you’re in the Garden State.

Yankee Doodle Tap Room

A great place to start the night off has to be Yankee Doodle Tap Room. Found in the beautiful Nassau Inn, the Tap Room is over 200 years old and still has many of the features you would have found in the old days.

The gastropub has a great selection of food and beer and is the perfect place to fuel up before a night on the town.

Anchor Rock Club

The Anchor Rock Club is famed for hosting some of the best music the city has to offer. With everything from classic Country to EDM and a few parties thrown in the mix, the club has everything you need for a great night out.

The only thing to remember is that you need to book early; tickets for shows sell out really fast. However, the time and effort are certainly worth it if you want a true taste of New Jersey music.

Albert Music Hall

Not to be confused with the Royal Albert in the UK, the Albert Music Hall is a stalwart in the tri-state music scene. Visitors can enjoy hours of country and bluegrass music, with bands changing every 30 minutes.

The small cabin is tricky to find if you aren’t familiar with the area; however, brushing shoulders with the locals and feeling the history and passion of what is around you is sure to be a night to remember.

There are very few things that you can do with friends that are more enjoyable than a night of karaoke. The venue offers party packages, allowing you to enjoy a night with a couple of people or pick a bigger room if you’re out with a group.

Martell’s Tiki Bar

A tiki bar is probably not something you would associate with Jersey, but Martell’s has set the standard. Known as the “Jersey Shore island getaway,” Martell’s is lined with palm trees and is found a few steps off the beach.

There are a few restaurants to choose from, as well as live entertainment. With regular beach parties and club nights, Martell’s is your one-stop-shop for beachfront entertainment throughout the Summer.

Jenks Club

If you ever watched the reality hit that was Jersey Shore, you will be very familiar with Jenks. While it is popular with locals, it is usually overlooked by visitors to the Shore. Found on the famous Jersey Shore boardwalk, Jenks has played host to hundreds, even thousands of parties over the years.
