Promotion of a new or renovated hotel is quite crucial in the pre-opening phase of the hotel. Celebrities can make the marketing remarkably efficient. There are several success stories of celebrities who have turned hotels into popular destinations of many holidaymakers.

A fine example is the Nobu Hotel in Las Vegas, where Robert Di Niro is part of the team renovating the hotel. The enterprise also plans further expansion to Saudi Arabia, London and Bahrain. Greenwich Hotel is another of Di Niro’s projects, who owns the well-known hotel in New York City.

Designers have also been involved in hotel brands quite often. For instance Diane von Furstenberg greatly participated in designing the new penthouse located on Australia's Hayman Island, and beach cabanas of St. Regis Princeville was the work on Trina Turk. The famous singer, Lenny Kravitz was the key collaborator in the new south beach hotel SLS South Beach. On the other hand, many of luxury properties in Europe and Middle East have been designed by the great fashion houses like Ferragamo, Versace and Moschino.

Trump Hotels: These hotels are found in most places of the world and their foundation relied greatly on the famous Donald Trump.

The Clarence: It is found in the republic of Ireland. The rock star Bono and his band member The Edge got involved in the ownership of the property in 1992 when it was being refurbished.

Sundance Resort in Utah: It was bought by Robert Redford in 1969. It is the favorite of many people and film fans coming for the festival each winter.

Bedford Post inn in New York: It is the favorite place for celebs. Richard Gere is the key personality.

Coppola resorts: These hotels can be found in Belize, Argentina, Guatemala and Italy. They are the investments of the famous film maker Francis Ford Coppola.

Ariel Sands in Bermuda: It is located on a 14-acre piece of land. The well-known couple Michael Douglas and his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones are among the key shareholders in the investment.

Kasbah Tamadot in Morocco: Richard Branson is the owner of this luxurious property.

Hotel Tetiaroa, French Polynesia: This property was bought by Marlon Brando in 1960s while shooting a movie in the region.

Mission Ranch & Cypress Inn in Carmel-By-The-Sea: These famous and beautiful destinations also have world famous celebrities involved in their ownership. The Mission Ranch is Clint Eastwood's property while Doris Day is the owner of Cypress Inn.
