In 2013 outbound travel market in China reached 98 million person trips. It means increase of 18% from the previous year. Most of Chinese outbound travelers came from Shanghai, Guangdong, and Beijing, and also form some coastal provinces such as Jiangsu, Zhejiang and etc.

The average monthly income of Chinese outbound tourist is about US$ 1 900 and the average monthly family income is about US$ 3 400.

About 70% of the Chinese cross boarder tourists arrange trip at least once a year; about 37% more than once a year.
