CHANGED THE PODIUM OF THE BEST AIRLINES IN THE WORLD

According to the Skytrax World Airlines Awards 2023, Singapore Airlines has surpassed Qatar Airways and ANA (All Nippon Airways) to claim the top spot. The announcement at the Paris Air Show marks a change from the previous year's rankings, with Singapore Airlines replacing Qatar Airways as the frontrunner. ANA also moved up to third place, while Emirates dropped a spot.

At the Paris Air Show, the top ten airlines were revealed, and there was a change at the top compared to last year. Singapore Airlines now holds the top spot, replacing Qatar Airways, which held the position in 2019, 2021, and 2022. Behind them, ANA takes third place, pushing Emirates down a spot. Japan Airlines is in fifth place, followed by Turkish Airlines, Air France, Cathay Pacific (which moved up eight spots), Eva Air (which moved up nine places), and Korean Air (which dropped one spot).

Fifth time

This is the fifth time Singapore Airlines has taken the top step of the podium, winning Best First-Class Airline, best First-Class Comfort Facilities, and Best Airline in Asia. Its low-cost division, Scoot, also won the award for the best long-haul low-cost airline in the world and second place for the best all-around low-cost airline.

Qatar Airways won the World's Best Business Class with its QSuite, the Middle East's Best Airline, the World's Best Business Class Lounge (Al Mourjan Lounge at Doha-Hamad International Airport), and the World's Best Dining Service in Business Class Lounges.

On the third step of the podium, ANA took first place in the categories of World's Best Airport Services (for the tenth time), World's Cleanest Airline (for the fifth time), and Best Flight Attendant Service in Asia (for the eighth time).
