Tourists head to San Diego, CA for unique holiday full of choices. The city offers attractions for any taste – 14 museums, a zoo, hiking trails as well as the perfect waves for surfers.

One of the most attractive destinations in California is the city of San Diego. With an unbelievable range of activities and much to admire, it will satisfy the most demanding tourists. The vibrant San Diego night life is just one of the many things tourists love about America’s Finest City. History enthusiasts on the other hand can visit the numerous museums and there is also a rich cultural program on offer day and night, while youngsters and nature lovers have the famous zoos and parks to visit. As for the more adventurous, there are beautiful beaches with powerful waves – San Diego Bay is a surfer’s paradise.

The must-see place is the spectacular Balboa Park. Here, visitors can view the rich collections of the fourteen local museums, the top ones being the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, the Natural History Museum, the San Diego Museum of Man, and the Museum of Photographic Arts.

There are also theatres and opera houses located at Balboa Park; for an art-devotee, this is a very difficult place to bid farewell to. Another good recommendation is the famous San Diego Zoo, one of the country’s best-rated zoos for many years now. Apart from the number of endangered species found here, the local botanical garden has also significantly raised the zoo’s already marvelous reputation.

While surfing is paramount, kayaking and snorkeling are other options for water sports enthusiasts. Away from the beaches, hiking trails are available, the most popular being the one-mile long Cowles Mountain Trail, which rises 950 feet and offers a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean and the city.

Here, everyone can get the perfect holiday. The wide range of activities means that individual wishes and preferences can be catered for. San Diego really is "For Everyone".
