Sometimes hotels get busy u just have to stay on top of it keep calling until they have no choice but address the problem. I hope the compensated you. : )
Once I stayed at the Pennsylvanai Hotel. It looks dumpy idisne. Yet it's in a nice neighborhood across the street from Madison Square Garden and the price was right. My girlfriend then paid with a credit card. Not sure about cash. (Rio from Germany)
